Felt is a nonwoven fabric produced by matting, condensing, and pressing fibers using techniques that involve heat, moisture and pressure.

Felt has no grain so no attention needed as to the grainline when cutting pattern pieces from felt.

Felt is not flexible and it does not have the elasticity of fabrics made of woven or knitted yarns.

Felt acoustic panels are made by wrapping felt directly onto the acoustic core using spray adhesive around the edges and slightly to the back of panels to hold felt in place
